My mother passed away this past summer, July 2018. Her estate consisted of a security deposit refund check made out to her "estate". Mr. Marsh, pro bono, gave me much needed advice and detailed direction on how to deal with the check. Because of his advice we didn't have to go through the expense a...nd extensive time required with the probate process. Instead he guided me through a process for small estates. This required the check be canceled and reissued. But the process was much cheaper, easier and faster than going through probate. I was so impressed with the manner in which he helped me, I am going to try harder to treat others with the compassion and kindness that he treated my siblings and me.
