However, where he excels is the human connection. He understands that when you are adopting a child it isn't always about dotting your I's or c...rossing your T's. It's about forever. Stephen worked incredibly hard to move our adoption up so that our son could finally rest and know that he found his forever family. Once we arrived at the court house he presented us a wonderful home-made banner for our pictures. And, at the time of our adoption fears were high as we adopted during the Covid-19 Pandemic... he showed up with home-made matching masks so that even though we were wearing masks we all matched.
