My practice focuses on successfully addressing the litigation and strategic needs of businesses and the individuals who own, operate, and work with such entities. The majority of my practice is devoted to representing both plaintiffs and defendants in business disputes in state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration and other dispute resolution settings. I handle all phases of litigation, including identifying and developing claims and defenses, preparing necessary and appropriate filings, conducting effective discovery, motion practice, and other pre-trial tasks, and presenting cases to judges, arbitrators, and juries.
As part of my practice, I advise individuals and businesses in contract and entity formation, preservation and prosecution of their business interests, and litigation avoidance and strategy. I am able to draw on my diverse experience representing clients with unique legal needs in a wide variety of settings. This experience, including my years with a large national law firm, allows me to provide top-tier legal advice with the added benefits of highly personalized attention and one-on-one service.
I have called the Valley home for over 30 years and attended elementary school, junior high, and high school in Tempe. I graduated cum laude from the Arizona State University College of Law in 1995, and before entering private practice, served as a law clerk to the Honorable Thomas C. Kleinschmidt and the Honorable Michael D. Ryan during their respective tenures on the Arizona Court of Appeals. I am licensed in Arizona state and federal courts and in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and am a member of the Arizona State Bar, the Maricopa County Bar Association, and the Scottsdale Bar Association.
