She served as Editor in Chief of the Arizona Journal of International & Comparative Law, leading a team of more than 50 editors. She also earned a CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Public Powers & Mexico’s Electoral System and holds a Certificate in Mexican Public Law and Policy from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.
During law school, Susan gained valuable litigation experience through clinics and clerkships with the Federal Public Defender, Quarles & Brady LLP, and the Honorable Dean D. Pregerson of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. Prior to law school, Susan spent over a decade as a senior paralegal, managing litigation from intake through trial across civil litigation and criminal defense matters.
