Represented a high profile medical doctor who had 4 young children and a much younger wife with a college degree and limited job history. Wife demanded extraordinary monthly spousal maintenance paymen ... ts, my client refused to buckle. Case litigated for almost two years before a three day evidentiary trial which included multiple fact and expert witnesses. The Court ultimately awarded only 5 years spousal maintenance at a figure far closer to what Husband was willing to pay as compared to what Wife and her lawyer previously demanded to be paid. Client has now moved on, bought a new large home with separate bedrooms for all of his 4 kids and he's turned the corner on his next phase of life where he still works full time and co-parents successfully with his ex spouse who has now gone back to school.
