Mr. Ronald J. Washington, a native of Dallas, Texas, was admitted to the Arizona State Bar in 2004 after acquiring his Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from The University of Arizona in the year 2000. He subsequently obtained his Juris Doctor Degree from the Dedman School of Law at Southern Methodist University in 2003.

When he was prosecuting in Tucson, he attended and participated in the 2005 Tucson Police Department Field Sobriety Wet Workshop/ HGN School Program and successfully prosecuted numerous DUI cases through jury trial.
Ronald then worked as an associate personal injury plaintiff's attorney with Doug Zanes & Associates from 2006 to 2007. There, he immersed himself in settling car accident cases via claim settlement, arbitration and jury trial. He settled numerous cases totalling awards up to $300,000 during his short tenure with Mr. Zanes from mid 2006 to 2007.
While working with Mr. Wilson from 2007 to 2015, Ronald focused heavily on DUI defense among other felony criminal cases maintaining an above average dismissal/not guilty win rate via evidentiary hearing and jury trial.
Mr. Washington thrives on being in the courtroom and finds immense satisfaction in being an advocate for those who might be less knowledgeable about the law in Arizona and more importantly the Arizona and United States Constitution. “I have a conviction for Misdemeanor Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, stemming from a complaint that occurred in 2007. Per the AZ State Bar, I submitted to quarterly hair follicle examinations for 2 consecutive years, all of which returned negative readings for THC. Additionally, for 18 mos. concurrent with the two years, I also submitted to weekly drug screen urinalysis examinations, all of which returned negative results for any controlled substances.”
