Andrea Elizabeth Mouser

I met Andrea mouser, she now goes by Andrea Soto in 2014. I was seeking interviewing attorneys for my impending divorce. I eventually requested Andrea to be my counsel, she informed me that she could not manage to take my case at the time ( I later found out her license had been suspended the month ...prior). Andrea informed me that my case was fairly straight forward. She offered to save me money by preparing for hearings and drafting documents that I would file as my own. Needless to say the outcome was dismal. She stopped taking my calls and requests for my money back as she was not properly licensed. I have since hired a licensed attorney and have been able to recover some.

I met with Andrea in 2007 to initially consult with her regarding a possible divorce. The divorce involved several franchises that my husband and I owned and I knew it would be very difficult. She informed me about the process and the next steps. She advised me to start gathering all of the inform...ation regarding the businesses, because that would make starting my case much easier. I did that over the course of three months and I continued to call her with questions which she answered the same day. She was very knowledgeable about the law and the business value process. After I gathered everything she filed my case for me and right after that happened, my husband hid all of the documents that I had copied. She told me from the beginning to assume that I would be cut off from community accounts and the business documents and she was right. She also told me before I filed to meet with a therapist to discuss the issues that were occurring and to talk about a parenting plan for my three kids. I spoke with a therapist several times and he ended up becoming an integral part of my case later on when my husband fought custody. Andrea always gave me the resources that I needed to be successful and the case ended up settling about a month before trail because we had everything ready to go to court. I have seen Andrea twice for enforcement matters since the divorce and she has been easy to work with and clear about her expectations for me from the start. I will always consider her a trusted adviser.

I hired Andrea late last year (2014) for a simple Parenting Plan modification/ change for my child. It seemed like a fairly straight forward case as I was just requesting the court make some changes to my parenting time and the parenting plan itself as well. I knew that the other party (Son's Mother)... would hire an attorney so I did so first in order to be proactive. Additionally, navigating all of the paperwork in Family Court is a nightmare as well for a non-lawyer... First of all, Andrea did not file the initial petition to the court until about 2 1/2 months after I retained her services. This was completely unacceptable right out of the gate... She was slow to respond to e-mails or phone calls and would not give me regular status updates on my case. I confronted Andrea on it and all I heard was a long litany of excuses about personal issues, family issues, office issues, etc. I threatened to fire Andrea and she apologized, stated that the delays would never happen again and that I would be kept in the loop on case status updates by phone or e-mail. Through out the course of my case, Andrea was always very slow to return my voice mails or e-mails with some responses taking up to 7 days and no responses in other instances. The last straw was the fact that Andrea's law license was suspended by the state bar of AZ right in the middle of my case. She did not inform me that she had her license had been suspended until about two weeks after she was made aware of the suspension. Now, I had to take the time to hire a replacement attorney and deal with the delay that this cost me in the progression of the case. I would not recommend Andrea as a family law attorney or in any case for that matter. She is not proactive, she is not well organized and she does not regularly keep her clients updated on their case progress. Andrea's law license is suspended effective July 29, 2015 but when she is eventually reinstated, do not hire her for your case...

I initially started working with Andrea in 2012 when she did my divorce, and unfortunately, due to my case, I have had recurring enforcement issues that she has helped me with since that time. We have been to five hearings since 2012, including my initial divorce and she has always been responsive a...nd diligent. She was excellent in court and extremely organized with the information and exhibits. When I started working with her, she told me from the beginning how long the process would take, what my husband might try to do and say, and she was right. She was able to anticipate what his next steps might be and she was proactive with making sure that he didn't succeed in trying to manipulate the process. Andrea was always extremely responsive, in fact, I never waited more than 24 hours for a return call or e-mail and she had my case filed and moving within two weeks of meeting with her. I was referred to Andrea by a very good friend who also had an excellent experience with her, and said that she would tell me the truth even if it was hard to hear, and she did. I would highly recommend Andrea to anyone seeking family law counsel. She has been a trusted source of information for the last three years and has always been extremely professional and responsive.

I trust her with my life who are my children. She is always available to explain everything to me step-by-step during my divorce, and currently is my attorney. My divorce is done now but child custody, continuing because of the other party. She's a very strong attorney during court ,knowledgeable to ...say the least in family law. I would not change her for any other and feel very bless that I chose her to represent me during these unpleasant and challenging moments. I know that if I would've not choose her I would've not have, what I have today which is full custody of my children. Andrea, brought to light all the deceiving lies that were to be used against me and for that I will always thank her. She's an excellent attorney and I will recommend her hundred percent.
