SSI under $735 a month and under 2k in assets. If you fit those requirements, you're good. Section 8 shouldn't affect it.

You will have a mental examination. Expect some relatively easy questions. The examiner has a low threshold of proving you're mentally fit.

SSI any income above $735 a month or more than 2k in assets, your benefits can be reduced or eliminated. SSD you will have no issues.
