You're only allowed to have 2k. Therefore, figure out what to do with the other 30k.
Is it that easy to collect ssi every month and own property as long as property deed is not in your name
?

You can work and make up to $850 a month without a problem. Only issue is that SSA has a periodic review so you should consider all options.

If you had SSI it will be cut because it is only given to people with limited means. SSDI shouldn't be affected.
