I recommend Marilee Miller Clarke without reservation. Her knowledge of the law, and years of experience Practicing law in Arizona were a clear advantage to us in the legal action she helped us with. In the beginning, she explained many aspects of the legal proceedings that were not clear to us,... and help us come to a strategy for proceeding. She is patient and thorough, but she will not run up the bill by speaking at length with you if she has what she needs to do the work. She answers all communications promptly, and you should be prepared to do the same for her as she has a very strong work ethic and you do not want to slow her down. She is a strong strategic thinker, and helped us achieve our goals. In a dissolution case with contested child custody, she was able to achieve a win, in spite of many obstacles and prejudices which do not favor a win for the father. She is an excellent communicator, both written and spoken. For written court documents, she leaves no detail unattended. Her Courtroom demeanor is thorough, respectful and effective. She has an amazing ability to think quickly on her feet and adjust strategy quickly when required. We are so grateful to her and her very professional staff, for all they have done to help our family. We hope we are done with legal stuff for now, but if not, we would rely on her in the future.

Ms. Clarke has assisted me with a special needs trust for a daughter and was instrumental in securing back child support for her. In addition she assisted in my personal estate planning and my husband's (who has since died). I was appointed successor trustee for a friend who had a multi million dolla...r portfolio and Ms. Clarke was a tremendous help every step of the way. This friend lived for seven years needing complete care and upon her death, the finalization of her estate. Ms. Clarke is very professional, totally ethical and someone who communicates clearly. I was referred to this attorney in 2003 for visitation rights as my partner and I had parted ways and the ex-partner decided I had no rights due to the fact I was not the biologic parent. Marilee Miller Clarke was awesome. I not only was able to see my child but the ex partner was a born again christ...ian and her attorney was paid for by the "keep familys together" a religious homophobic organization. However after all was said and done through the superior court of Maricopa County. I was able to keep my rights as a parent and was awarded visitation. The ex partner's attorney took the case all the way to the court of appeals in Maricopa County and fortunately for me was able to keep all my visitation "stayed my rights as a lesbian non biologic parent". In 2013 agin Marilee Miller Clarke assisted myself and a elderly friend that I became POA, a caregiver had looted close to 1 million dollars from her account that was in fact a "trust account" with one of the largest Banking systems in the US. We were able to acquire some her assets returned in a legal case in SanBernardino County CA. Again, this attorney is awesome. I like the the fact that Marilee Miller Clarke, holds her cards about the case very close to her chest, never promising me, her client anything. As I have been to attorneys that will tell you " this case will be a slam dunk" there is not such a situation. Lastly, April 2016 I had a ex friend that caused some major damage to my home. I filed a order of protection, it was first awarded to me on filing but the second Judge denied it. So I hired Marilee and now have the "order of protection for 1 year".
