Lance C Venable

Lance has done a few projects for me. Both had to do with patent research and filing or other IP/ trademark stuff. Another time, he advised me when a competitor was being sued, and the litigant had requested to interview me. I usually assume that service provider is going to give me their bes...t advice -- but, their best advice that also maps to a service they offer. It's pretty normal. It's like if you go to a mechanic, it's very unlikely that they're going to tell you that there is absolutely *nothing* wrong with your car. But, Lance's advice, I think is his best advice regardless of whether it involves a service he offers. I also think his advice is intelligent and straightforward. His process is pretty transparent; I don't feel like there are things hidden. His services are not inexpensive. But, they're not out of line.

Lance represented me for a US and Australian medical device patent. He has also done many patent searches for other inventions and recommended I proceed or to withhold moving forward based on his valued legal opinion. Lance is always professional and personable and also a very fair individual as he ...has always worked closely with me on controlling costs. I would highly recommend him as an intellectual Property legal advisor.
