Tom Swift does not confirm if he represents his clients when repeatedly asked for confirmation. When involved in a court proceeding, he does not follow legal protocol. Example, he supplied an evidence list along with a blank disc which was to contain the evidence noted within the list. When t...his was brought to his attention (twice), he ignored the requests for him to supply a complete disc; thereby verifying that the blank disc was intentionally sent. Per his client, Swift instructed the client to construct an impediment to an easement's access, against easement law, which is illegal when it significantly lessens the utility of the easement, increases the burden on the use and enjoyment by the owner of the easement, and frustrates the purpose for which the easement was created.
