Bryan H. Blackwell

Bryan Blackwell, Esq. is a founding member of Blackwell Ruiz Injury Law. Bryan grew up in the small towns of Monroe and Ferron in rural Utah where he spent much of his time outdoors getting into trouble.

Bryan earned his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Dixie State University in St. George, Utah. After spending several years in the software industry, Bryan grew tired of the constant travel and decided to pursue a different path. He graduated from University of Utah's SJ Quinney School of Law in 2012 and was recruited to Las Vegas to begin his legal career.

As a young attorney, Bryan worked to defend large insurance companies from injury lawsuits. However, any "wins" he had seemed very empty, as he quickly realized he was working for the bad guys. He felt empathy for the people he was supposed to be fighting and soon decided to fight for them, rather than against them.

Bryan was fortunate to spend the next several years working for large, high-volume "billboard" injury firms, where he was able to handle thousands of cases in a short amount of time. His experience working for the bad guys gave him an advantage, as he understood their tricks and tactics. Bryan was given the "Rising Star" award by Super Lawyers in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020. He was also listed as "Legal Elite" by Nevada Business Magazine during those years.

Throughout his career, Bryan has quickly developed a bond with his clients, many of whom now refer friends and family to him. This constant stream of new clients allowed him to eventually leave the high-volume law firms and start a more personalized, client-focused practice. Today, Bryan continues his commitment to his clients - giving each of them his personal cell phone number and speaking with or texting them throughout the day.
