Education and Honors
Spencer graduated magna cum laude from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University with a bachelor’s degree in business law. Spencer then attended the Sandra Day O’Connor School of Law at Arizona State University on scholarship and as a William Pedrick Honors Scholar. Spencer graduated with a Juris Doctorate and earned a certificate in trial advocacy. While in law school, Spencer participated in the Civil Litigation Clinic as a Certified Limited Practice Student, where he successfully represented multiple clients. Spencer also served as the marketing chair for the chapter of the Federalist Society at ASU Law. Spencer’s favorite classes in law school included Negotiations, Trial Advocacy, and Decedent’s Estates.
Legal Experience
Spencer began his legal career in 2015 in the Phoenix valley and gained experience in many diverse areas of law, including bankruptcy, debt-defense litigation, estate planning, family law, homeowner’s association law, landlord-tenant law, personal injury, and property law. In 2021, Spencer joined Jackson White as a law clerk. Spencer now focuses his career on probate litigation, specifically in the guardianship and conservatorship arena, where he believes his skills and passion for advocacy make a positive impact on people in the community.
Personal Interests
In his spare time, Spencer likes to read and listen to audiobooks. Some of his favorite authors include Brandon Sanderson, John Grisham, and Ryan Holiday. Spencer enjoys watching basketball with his family and will always cheer for the Phoenix Suns. Above all, Spencer loves to spend time with his wife, McKinna, and his children.
