Upon retaining an attorney, one would expect attention to detail regarding specific documents that will be filed to obtain a favorable outcome. That was not the case with my experience with Mr. Sufrin. Dissolution of Marriage documents were drawn up, reviewed and filed in good faith eventually result...ing in a virtual default hearing with the Judge. The document that Mr. Sufrin filed with the court was a totally different document from the one I received before the hearing began. This resulted in my having to request the court to nullify the dissolution granted and refile and reschedule a hearing using the CORRECT documents. Mr. Sufrin assured me he would make things right and alluded to the Court Clerk having made the mistake in the filing. In the meantime, I arranged the terms of the divorce to be favorable to all parties and again had to pay for representation for this attorney's lack of attention to detail. I will add that several times along the process of preparing initial documents, I pointed out Mr. Sufrin's errors. He joked that was the software used in electronic forms/filing. All in all, it caused me almost a year of my life as well as an additional significant amount of money because he initially filed the wrong documents and then claimed he does not work for less than his hourly rate for anyone, although it was clearly his mistake. I am grateful to be divorced at this point but would entertain a comparison with this attorney and Saul Goodman.
