I have 22 years of experience as an attorney, the last 20 of which has been in the field of plaintiff's personal injury law. I have handled both simple and complex cases, ranging from soft tissue injuries motor vehicle accidents to catastrophic injuries and death cases arising from many different types of from accidents and defective products. I am equally comfortable in and out of the courtroom. I treat my clients with respect and compassion. I treat my opponents with respect and professionalism. Such conduct has led to many personal referrals from colleagues, opponents, past clients, and friends. I've gotten many referrals from clients whose cases I had handled more than ten years prior. In addition to a law degree, I also have a Masters Degree in Criminal Justice/Corrections and a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology. Before attending law school, I spent 12 years working in social services, where I worked primarily with at-risk youth, homeless adolescents and families, and in job counseling/placement and training programs for indigent adults. I believe that my prior experience gives me an insight into relating to injured victims and how their lives can be affected on so many levels.
