Biography
Hershel Ber has practiced law in the State of Arizona for twenty-six years. The law firm focuses on handling divorce and family law cases, serious wrongful death actions, as well as criminal cases including assaults, drug offenses and fraudulent schemes. He has partnered on various cases with other attorneys throughout the country. Hershel has honed his litigation skills through hundreds of trials while at his law firm.
Hershel began his career as a magna cum laude graduate of Whittier Law School in 1995. He was an editor on the Law Review as well as a member of the Moot Court Honors Board, leading his team in various competitions. He received two American Jurisprudence Awards in the study of constitutional law. Mr. Ber interned for both the Federal Magistrate Judge Joseph Reichmann in the U.S. District Court - Los Angeles, California as well as the Arizona Attorney General's Environmental Enforcement Unit - Criminal Division. Mr. Ber also received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Arizona State University.
Hershel Ber is a member of the Arizona State Bar in good standing since 1995. He has been a partner in his own firm for more than twenty years having previously worked in both a criminal defense law office and an insurance defense firm. Hershel understands that client's lives, businesses and finances are turned upside down when facing serious or catastrophic litigation. Hershel's extensive experience in court helps focus his work on techniques that really matter in cases. He knows the importance of putting in the time and effort in every case to make a difference for his clients. Hershel knows the importance of hiring an attorney who has extensive courtroom experience. Hershel also believes in giving back to the community. He has dedicated his personal time to providing pro bono legal advice to indigent clients. Due to his considerable efforts, Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor presented Hershel Ber with the "For Love of Justice" award for his pro bono work.

Criminal Defense
