Highly recommended
I highly recommend Yash Pahwa as a lawyer. I would use Yash as a lawyer in the future, and refer him to my friends and family. He is hard working, professional and honest.

Not very professional
I had a consultation with Yash but did not hire him for the case due to his rudeness and lack of professionalism. My case is now closed thanks to another competent lawyer. Also, his page on Avvo falsely advertises free consultation but it's $100 for personal case and $150 for business matters.
Ms. Sealky Lee, I am sorry that you felt your time and money were wasted. When we had our initial 30 minute consultation I explained your legal options for your situation, and I told you at that time it did not make sense to hire me since the money spent would not get you the result you wanted. Very rarely do attorneys tell you not to hire them, or to give them money, I told you both. The outcome you wanted for your situation was not supported by fact or law. You then contacted my office again the next day asking for a follow up since you claimed to not understand what we spoke about. What had actually happened is that you reached out to your Landlord and told them our firm represented you and you started getting communication from your Landlord to that effect. What you wanted was more advice to respond to your Landlord, even while knowing this I agreed to speak to you for no charge to help you understand your options. You pleaded with me to represent you, and when I presented the legal options you had you did not like any of them. You wanted me to do something that did not have any basis in law or in fact, and would have ultimately failed and wasted your money and my time. I therefore declined your case and to work with you. I find it unlikely you found another lawyer and closed your matter less than 24 hours of talking to me, but if you did then great and I am happy for you.

"I endorse this lawyer. I have known Yash for years. He was always a very good student and quick learn. In fact, he completed and internship with me and was a great summer addition. I have had a chance to work with Yash on a couple of legal matters after his admission to the Bar and he is a very good up and coming young lawyer. I never hesitate to send him work outside of my practice area!"
"Yash stands out as having a solid grasp of the law and as someone who is willing to listen and address the specific needs of those around him. I have no doubt he uses these skills when handling client matters."
"Yash went to law school with me. He is knowledgeable and detail oriented. I recommend Yash for any of your legal needs."
