Ethics and Professional Responsibility 100%

I have been active in lawyer regulation in both Ohio and Arizona since 1975. During that time, I was not representing lawyers before the hearing committees or Disciplinary Commission on which I sat, and only began taking taking cases in 2001. The bulk of my time now is serving as an expert witness on professional responsibility matters, both as a consultant and as a testifying expert when required.

Relationship: Worked for lawyer

"I highly endorse this lawyer's work. David Dodge is highly respected in the ethics field and with good reason. He has been actively involved in lawyer discipline matters for many years-- having served in the past as a hearing officer and later as a member (and chair) of the Disciplinary Commission-- and having represented many lawyers in related matters thereafter. His numerous articles on ethics demonstrate his expertise but perhaps more importantly, reflect his true enjoyment of the subject matter and his ability to break down what some may view as boring rules into easily digestible, informative and interesting stories. This is what makes Mr. Dodge an invaluable asset as an expert witness. Plus, he is the nicest guy you would ever want to meet."

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
