DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN TO REPRESENT YOU

Mr. Hock seemed very kind and helpful while I was actually in court. After that, he seemed to take no interest in helping with important matters pertaining to my case. He repeatedly gave me advice that turned out to be utterly and dangerously false. For example, he told me that I could drive under ce...rtain restrictions at a certain date, so I followed that advice, and resumed driving. Later a policeman took my DL away, because he found out I had no such right to be driving, and in fact, my DL was revoked for three years. Had I been caught in a traffic stop driving, I could have gone to jail for 2 years. The only way for my DL to be revoked for 3 years instead of one, as Mr. Hock had said it would be, was if I had been found guilty of the crime that was dropped during my plea. It turned out, according to the court itself, that Mr. Hock had himself recorded my crime as the one that was dropped. Only he could correct this with the court. Instead of being helpful and friendly, at this point he was hostile, saying he "didn't represent me anymore", and told me that no one could figure out why the court had recorded the crime incorrectly. The only way it could have been was if he did report it that way himself. After more than a month of badgering him with emails, did he say he had fixed the error. Actually, he took no responsibility for the mistake, but instead told me that I was exempt from the 3 year revocation due to the date of my arrest falling prior to a new law. He further told me that he had corrected the mistake, but he actually did not. Overall, I have to say that I very much regret having trusted my life to this attorney, although at the time of my court hearings he was very kind and amiable. He didn't try to get my charges dropped at all, rushed me into a plea, and was done with it. Then he gave me false information repeatedly. I highly discourage any one from considering this attorney for representation, especially in a DUI case.
