Smart, Experienced and Tough

I absolutely endorse Richard Gramlich. He is smart, knowledgeable, experienced and explains things quickly, thoroughly and in a way that a layperson can understand. And....he is tough with the opposition. I hired Rich because my first lawyer was lacking in some of the above-mentioned qualities, m...ost notably being tough with the opposition. I’m grateful I found Rich and I believe that without his representation I would have been ruined financially. That being said, the best course of action is NOT to get involved in a lawsuit in the first place if you can possibly avoid it. It is a losing proposition for an individual consumer/plaintiff and when your attorney and other professionals tell you that you won’t be “made whole” – believe them. After building my house with a reputable builder I discovered a substantial construction defect that the builder was unable (and unwilling) to fix. After months of frustrating and fruitless conversations with the builder, I hired an attorney. After over two years of even more frustrating and expensive motions, talks, calls and forensic tests, it was clear that my attorney was in over his head. Rich was recommended by other professionals involved with my case. He came on board and immediately took control, explained everything to me in plain English (so I could easily understand what was happening and what my options were) and did so quickly (important when conversations are being timed and billed by the hour). After almost three years since the discovery of the construction defect, I finally had an advocate who was not only willing, but ABLE to fight for my rights and legal protections. It was another year before the case finally ended. Although in the end, I lost a substantial amount of money, I recognize that without Rich’s help the financial devastation would have been much, much worse. Once again, Rich was a strong advocate, smart and he truly saved the day.

Client

Richard was retained to successfully resolve a residential water damage insurance claim with mold and asbestos contamination. He is a strategic thinker who thoroughly reviewed my policy coverage, evaluated actions taken by my insurance adjuster and determined failure to act in good faith on behalf o...f the carrier. To date Richard has been available, a good communicator including with the environmental test consultant and storage provider both of whom appreciate his respectful negotiations. Richard is my trusted advocate. As a Stage 4 Cancer patient I believe Richard will ensure my "sick" home is made well so that I may once again safely reside in my community. The case is still in the process of being resolved and I am confident Richard will ensure a positive outcome.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
