Biography
MAUREEN M. MANNING joined CKDQ as an attorney in 2011, after previously working for the firm as a paralegal from 2007-2008. During law school, Maureen served as the Senior Articles Editor for the Arizona Law Review. In 2010, in recognition of her work for the Law Review, Maureen received the Steptoe & Johnson Member of the Year award. She was also selected by her professors to tutor students in Civil Procedure and serve as a Legal Writing Fellow. In addition to her commercial litigation practice, Maureen is a strong advocate for animal and children’s causes. She has performed pro bono legal work for one of the largest no-kill animal shelters in Arizona. Maureen also actively supports charities whose mission is to save and enrich the lives of animals and children, including The Gentle Barn, Beagle Freedom Project, Farm Sanctuary, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) for Children.
