I have practiced more than thirty years in the areas of taxation, bankruptcy, estate planning, real estate, corporate and personal injury. I earned a Masters of Law in Taxation from Boston University and worked for a big four accounting firm in their tax department. 

I have represented hundred of individuals and entities in a wide variety of tax matters. My practice includes representation before the US Tax Court, representation in the US Bankruptcy Court, before the IRS, Arizona DOR and other states. I have done countless tax appeals, tax audits, offers in compromise, innocent spouse cases, employment cases, whistleblower cases, 100% penalty and a wide variety of other tax matters. I am very involved in discharge of indebtedness issues and discharging taxes in bankruptcy.

My bankruptcy practice includes representation of both debtors and creditors in Chapters 7, 11, and 13 cases. I have been heavily involved in lien strip downs, loan modifications, lien avoidance cases, adversary proceedings, stay relief litigation and countless other matters.

Each matter is individually handled. Alternatives to bankruptcy are always considered. I take great pride in assisting clients on the path toward resuming their financial life by solving their financial difficulties.

Our office is frequently involved in sophisticated business transactions. In 2008, I was real estate counsel for the entity which developed the largest solar energy plant in the United States. 

I have been involved in the District Court of Arizona, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Middle District of Florida in litigating complex ERISA issues.

I have appeared in the Arizona Court of Appeals litigating significant issues concerning the rights of HOA's, and have represented dozens of HOA's over the years.

I have a substantial estate planning and probate practice, having prepared hundreds of estate plans. I recently litigated a significant probate issue in the Arizona Court of Appeals.
