Barry C Schneider

I was a civil practioner in NY and then AZ for almost 20 years before becoming a trial judge on the Maricopa County Superior Court, a state court of general jurisdiction.  I served for 21 years on the court in many capacities, including presiding Civil Department and Family Department judge during my tenure.  Among many other activities, I was very involved in bringing Alternative Dispute Resolution to the court. I was honored to receive a number of distinguished awards arising out of my service as a judge.  Upon retirement from the court in 2007 I formed Schneider Mediation and continued to provide neutral services as a mediator, arbitrator, and discovery master in the private sector.  As a neutral in the private sector I handle all types of civil matters.
