Iyad Nahhas

Over 18 years ago, I violated IPS, bonded out, then absconded. For nearly two decades I was a ghost. After all that time, I wanted to get my life in order, so I hired Mr. Nahhas. Other attorneys told me I’d be looking at 3.5 to 5 years as I was previously on probation for a Class 2 felony. Some attor...neys wouldn’t even take my case because, “they couldn’t give me any result I’d be happy with.” Well, not only did Mr. Nahhas accept my challenging case, but he got me back on standard probation… with zero jail or prison time. In fact, I was never even in handcuffs. The State’s prosecutor wasn’t budging off his demand that I serve time. And during my disposition hearing, it first sounded as if the judge was going to rule in favor of the State. But then we had our chance to refute the lies and half-truths the prosecutor (Lawson) told the court. And Mr. Nahhas did just that. It was an uphill battle… but I walked out of court that day on standard probation. Sure, I got zapped with a heavy dose of community service… but it sure as beats the alternative. I found much pleasure in watching the prosecutor stomp out of court, defeated. Not even his questionable antics could win that day, that disgusting man. Mr. Nahhas listened to my story and got the job done. I hope I never need criminal representation ever again… but if I did, I’m calling my man. 11/10.
