I have seldom written a comment like this on an entirely unsolicited basis. However, in this case I was so impressed by the customer service Mr. Stephen A. Johnson provided that I felt compelled to go on record with my praise. I have worked with Stephen for over 2 years now; I have observed him in ...action defending clients on jury trials and I believe he truly deserves this praise. In an era where exceptional one-to-one customer service excellence has virtually disappeared especially from the attorney-client industry, the passion for Mr. Stephen A. Johnson’s job truly shines through and should be held up as an example for others to try to emulate. What has particularly impressed me about the level of customer care was that Mr. Stephen A. Johnson seemed truly passionate about his work. In closing, Stephen is confident in his abilities, but also takes realistic assessments of his weaknesses. He seems to see beyond his own perspective. A great lawyer, needs to be able to see cases and situations from the perspective of not just his client, but also that of the opposing counsel, judge, and jury. And this is what Stephen does.

We all run into personal challenges throughout life and things happen. When I first engaged with Stephen he was soft spoken and young, which raised red flags for me. In our minds we all want to think of our personal legal defense as bull dogs, right? Well, I soon realized that our perception of wh...at we want is not at all what we NEED. After talking with him, I was quickly introduced to a new approach. For example, if the top rated attorney (pit-bull) walked into the courtroom and everyone hates him you have to ask yourself how far you really think you'll get come time for negotiating? On the flip side of that, Stephen walked into the courtroom and there were smiles all around. I mean clerk of court, judges clerks, assistant prosecutor, and other attorneys. How far do you think you'll get if everyone loves your lawyer? Exactly! It's about finding the right fit with an attorney that has a relationship to leverage. People love this guy and want to work with him which will help your case in the long run. Stephen is very friendly, charming, quick witted, genuine, but more importantly - he cares about his clients. Stephen was excellent in negotiating and got me what I was hoping for (anger management classes). When I 1st walked into the courtroom for the final disposition, he was actually on his personal cell phone using my home address trying to research the closest location for me - that's the kind of lawyer you should hire! I will continue to recommend Stephen Johnson to anyone who seeks a criminal defense attorney. Stephen would be an asset to any case and any defendant who needs a trusted legal counsel. He is very easy to work with and truly amazing at what he does. Let's hope I don't run into another legal situation, but in the event - I now have him on my side.
