Douglas D Terry

The attorney I hired became a judge and my case fell into the hands of Doug D Terry. As if my experience with Utah wasn't horrible enough, this guy really sealed the deal. First off, he didn't submit my motion for dismissal when he said he would... then lied about it. I had to call/email every sin...gle day for two weeks only to learn that my case had already been closed! Sparing details, the closure date was a big deal due to the fact that I had just moved and started a new job. He almost caused me to compromise my job with his blatant negligence. Not only was he unresponsive, but extremely rude. When I called to discuss the case, I had to repeat myself because he obviously didn't listen to a word I said. Then I had to be very pushy to get him to do what I needed. Oh, and he also advised me incorrectly and cost me more than I should've had to pay for probation. Any decent attorney should have known better. Just an overall disgrace to the justice system, completely lacking in tact and respect for his clients. I rarely write reviews, but no one should pay this guy a dime for his services. He's clearly too jaded and disorganized to be an effective attorney... and the fact that he's had disciplinary action taken against him should be a huge red flag! Avoid Doug Terry at all costs if you have half your wits about you.
