Bud I Powell

Bud Powell constantly lies to the judge and the court and should lose his license. Bud Powell misrepresented the facts of the case to the judge which resulted in the judge calling for a hearing that should have never happened and then resulted in a child being wrongfully placed temporarily with the a...buser. This hearing should have never even happened but since Bud Powell misrepresented the facts of the case to the court he was able to trick the judge to agree to hold this hearing when even the Attorney General opposed the hearing and soon after the AG quit after this case. We told Bud Powell we did not approve of his behavior and that he was not accurately representing us. Bud Powell lied about the abuser and portrayed the abuser as good. And then portrays the good parents as bad. Bud Powell demonized the other parents for homeschooling yet you come to find out that Bud Powell himself and his wife also homeschool themselves. Bud Powell is very dishonest, lies right to the judge. We filed a bar complaint but they of course just investigate themselves and always find no wrong doing. There aren't any real checks or balances to hold lawyers like Bud Powell who lie repeatedly to the courts accountable.

Bud Powell, was negligent on my case. I was abused in the legal system and Bud Powell did not help the case. I had finished therapy and Bud was negligent into submitting that to the judge which extended time of supervision. Bud would would show empathy on behalf of myself, a mother and her children b...eing away (and this was also a really low burden, DCFS dropped the case because I broke down once due to the trauma of being married to a pathological lying spouse who also had an emotional affair with an old girlfriend), yet Bud wasn’t a voice for my children like he should have been, and would twist information just as bad as my exes family would. He then claimed to the judge, “I don’t like how the mother talks to me.” How else do you expect a mother to talk to you when someone is negligent and offers manipulative empathy in the legal system to control a false narrative. Don’t hire him.
