Received another public reprimand from Utah Supreme Court of Ethics and Conduct in 2021

Refused to give me my case files (discovery) for months, lied he was going to give them repeatedly on recorded phone calls with him, was an active public defender on my case while his license to practice in Utah was under suspension due to non payment of his license fees, refused to consult with me w...hen he took it on his own to withdraw a motion for a change of plea, refused to reply/respond to the Office of Professional Conduct when my complaints brought him under their investigation. In a spring 2021 hearing by the panel of the Utah Supreme Court of Conduct and Ethics he basically laughed at him having been summoned there, stopped laughing when the Utah Supreme Court of Ethics and Conduct found all allegations of mine to be factual when they sentenced him (again-see 2015 case aswell) to a public reprimand. Greg Stewart is now happily under the wing of the Juab County, Utah Public Pretender's office, likely active in violating more clients, going for the 3rd reprimand.

Greg V. Stewart took money from my niece and did no work

In 2011 Gregory V. Steward with law offices in Provo at the time took $1,049 with a contract to file Chapter 7 bankruptcy. He never talked to her again after that. There was no evidence he did any work for her at all. The Bar was notified, but never followed up.

Do not retain

I retained this lawyer to hander a personal matter and he took my $850 dollars and then promptly quit taking my calls. He was told to fulfill his obligations by an assistant US Attorney and lied to him saying it was resolved. The matter was not resolved.
