Darren E Hansen

Darren is a civil trial lawyer with a focus on the litigation of complex civil cases, high stakes business transactions, and counseling business start-ups.   

A Cache Valley native, Darren received his law degree from the George Washington University Law School where he was a member of the Moot Court Board, Mock Trial Board, and the Federal Circuit Bar Journal. Darren also holds a B.A. in economics from Utah State University. 

Darren spent four years practicing in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area under the tutelage of experienced business attorneys handling complex civil litigation with stakes running into the tens of millions, Limited Liability Company Member disputes, the purchase and sale of businesses worth millions of dollars, labor and employment disputes, for which he has represented both employers and employees, and hotly contested divorces. 

This background has equipped Darren to help individual and corporate clients grapple with a range of legal and business issues. He handles disputes of all types, including business break-ups, corporate control battles, employment disputes, and complex tort cases.

Personal Background:

Driven from Washington, D.C. by its lack of mountains, I am an avid skier in the winter as well as a rock climber, para-glider pilot, mountain biker, and backpacker during the summer months. I recently discovered Trap and Skeet shooting as well; because I didn't have enough expensive hobbies as it was. Most weekends I can be found with my dogs and my wife exploring the mountains or enjoying all that Cache Valley offers.
