Fearless Champion For Justice

When everyone else walked out the door, Rocky walked in. My case is complicated by the fact that my child sex abuser was a DC Chief Justice Federal Judge, who was the prosecuting attorney of a high profile civil rights case involving a notorious racist serial killer that murdered 22 people in 12 stat...es, trying to start a race war in 1980. At that time I was incredibly traumatized and then abused again and again by the media and the predator at the time of the child sex abuse. It took a lot for me to get the abuser's admission recorded so I could sleep at night knowing I did all I could do to help avoid future victims at his hands. Rather than trusting the Utah Attorney Generals Office with the evidence and my complaint, I wish I would have gone to Rocky Anderson with my evidence of a recorded admission of the abuse. Had I involved Rocky to begin with, my case would be very different. I might have actually achieved accountability and justice for the abuse, criminally. Unfortunately, I mistakenly trusted the Utah AG office's promise that they would help me get more recorded evidence to hold my abuser accountable. Instead, I was misled about the investigation and course of action they would take against the powerful abuser. But instead the predator, who was the prosecuting attorney at the time of the abuse and DC Chief Justice Federal Judge when I gave them the evidence was given preferential treatment. The sex crime unit was never involved, investigators were assigned who had no experience in child sex abuse or sex abuse, the predator was never interviewed and was given the evidence by the Utah AG office while withholding it from me. This helped the judge achieve an early retirement and a $203,000 a year pension. This has been a particularly painful and extremely traumatizing 3 years. But thankfully Rocky and his exceptional staff have helped me get through the legal challenges. They have been easy to reach and understand. I'm truly grateful for his careful attention to detail and wisdom about the legal and ethical matters at hand. Rocky's experience with constitutional law and public relations has been invaluable as we have navigated this difficult course. He seems to never take a day off. I mean this sincerely. We have met to work on my case during holidays, weekends and late evenings. When all other lawyers were too busy or afraid to help me, Rocky accepted my request for representation. This is no small commitment and based on how I have been treated by lawyers in the past, I didn't hold a lot of hope that he would help me. If you are fortunate enough to have Rocky and his team on your side you will understand the gratitude I have expressed.
