When first meeting Laura, I was just starting the process of thinking of filing for divorce. She was recommended to me by someone else in her office. I went to her, trusting their opinion. Leaving the consultation, I had confidence in her. She was professional and kind. She told me that I would get e...verything I was asking for and there was no way my soon to be ex husband would walk away with what he was asking for. I felt this way right up until we were sitting across the table from the mediator. Laura did NOT have my best interest at heart like I had previously thought. I feel like she told me the things I had wanted to hear during the times I had spent with her. She did not fight for me or my child. During mediation, I found out she had previously been an advocate for Father's Rights, and I, as a mother, hired her to help me fight for my child. She, along with the mediator, told me that the deal on the table was the best I was going to get. And if I went in front of a judge, I wouldn't get even close to what was being proposed that day. At the end of mediation, after I had to draw up my own parent time schedule and the "spousal support" agreement, she had the nerve to ask if I was happy with the outcome. I, obviously, wasn't and she told me she hoped I didn't report her to the bar! I was blown away at how she misrepresented herself. It was partly my fault for not doing my research and hiring the first attorney I met with, but where she came recommended, I trusted the firm. I regret that now. I have since hired a different attorney and consulted with him. He has told me time and time again that I would have had a better outcome had I gone in front of a judge or a commissioner. I will not recommend Laura Johnson to anyone. She did not fight for me.

Laura is amazing... very detailed and very intelligent. When I seek to work with an attorney/lawyer to re...present me, I look at six Character points; 1. dependability 2. Loyalty 3. Ability 4. positive mental attitude 5. willing to go the extra mile, and 6. applied Faith. Laura represents and owns all six of these characteristics attributes. What I experienced in working with Laura, is she identfies situations as opportunity's rather than problems therefor always delivering great results. I highly recommend Laura D Johnson.
