Brooke Hansen

Brooke Hansen is a litigation associate at Claggett & Sykes Trial Lawyers, where she advocates for individuals and families injured by the negligence of others. Having more than a decade of experience as a paralegal before becoming an attorney, Brooke brings a comprehensive understanding of the legal process and a client-centered focus to every case she handles.

During her time as a paralegal in the Salt Lake Valley, Brooke developed a passion for personal injury law and for holding insurance companies accountable to their consumers. Her experience working closely with attorneys and clients gave her firsthand insight into the challenges those who have been injured face as they navigate insurance claims and the legal system.

Brooke has lived in Utah since 2003 and is a proud alumnus of Jordan High School and Utah Valley University. She joined Johnson | Livingston | PLLC in October 2022 after earning her law degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and was their Managing Attorney from January 2025 through June 2026, before joining Claggett & Sykes Trial Lawyers.

Today, Brooke draws on her background to understand each client’s circumstances, learn the full impact of their injuries, and develop an approach tailored to their individual needs. Her experience as a former paralegal is a critical asset in her work and strengthens her commitment to helping clients feel heard, informed and supported throughout their cases.
