- J. Ed Christiansen is a retired U.S. Marine and Iraqi War Veteran who served our country for more than 20 years as a JAG officer.
- He has assisted, advised and provided legal services for thousands of service members, retirees, and family members in the areas of family law including divorces, adoptions, and domestic support, taxes, estate planning, wills, and powers of attorney, landlord-tenant issues, and consumer rights.
- As a criminal defense attorney, he successfully represented hundreds of Marines and Sailors in trial and other adverse proceedings as well as dozens of appeals.
- As an Assistant U.S. Attorney, he prosecuted hundreds of cases. Having experience as both a prosecutor and a defense attorney, J. Ed has valuable insight into how the court and judicial system works.
- During his time in the Marine Corps, J. Ed developed a passion for helping people with the legal challenges they face. He has the ability to function and excel in highly stressful circumstances.
- J. Ed joined the Day Shell & Liljenquist team in 2012 and brings with him 20 years of vast and diverse experience. He can and will put this experience to work for you in your case. - During his free time, J. Ed enjoys spending time with his wife of 25 years and children, as well as participating in marathons, geocaching, racquetball, and hiking trails.
