Excellent

This was my first divorce and first dealing with a lawyer or a legal proceeding. Victoria was very informative. She fought hard for my interest in the face of an opposing counsel who often complicated the case with irrelevant request and unrealistic demands. She had excellent response time. She w...ould respond and answer promptly even after business hours and weekends. She worked with my unique circumstances. I was living and working overseas while she handled my case in Utah. It was a trying time and helped in numerous ways including setting up mediation through a Skype telecom which saved me a lot in travel expenses. Additionally, I could almost say Victoria paid for herself by winning pre-marital assets that I did not know that I was entitled to. If you are getting a divorce and there is any significant assets or property involved do not take legal advice from your friends or coworkers. You need a lawyer. Victoria is a good one.

Excellent Divorce Attorney

Victoria has been working with me for over a year on a very difficult divorce/custody situation. She is excellent at getting the job done, works hard to gather information and her communication with opposing counsel is above and beyond. She is prompt, excellent in preparation and has been outstanding... in court. She has served in positions on the State bar and knows the law. I have been very happy with the way she has professionally handled my case and case prep. She makes sure that her clients are very prepared for court, depositions and what ever may come up. I am very pleased and fortunate to have her as my counsel.

Very skilled and smart lawyer

I came to Victoria when I had some problems after my divorce. For each problem, she saw a good solution right away. Victoria could even see what my and my ex's previous lawyers couldn't see - a mistake in our divorce decree, which let the problem to be solved in my favor. Victoria won my EVERY disput...e, which I came to her with! Her knowledge and excellent logical skills are impressive. It is very easy to reach her, she is always very good at answering my Emails and helping me in every way she can. What I only very much regret is that I didn't find her during my divorce process. I am sure that the divorce time would be much less stressful for me with such a skillful lawyer. In addition, Victoria is tactful, understanding and kind person, who is able to listen your every word and also feel for you.

Knowledgeale but not a fighter

Victoria is a fantastic attorney, IF you don't have to fight. She knows the law through and through, but you should ONLY retain Victoria if you have a simple open and shut case. I scoured the internet for days looking for an attorney that I thought could help me win my custody battle, Victoria seem...ed to be the right person. I provided her with hours and hours of materials to review to help my case (which she gladly reviewed for $200/hr) and I felt we were on the same page most of the time. That is, until I realized that the ONE court hearing that could have turned the ENTIRE thing around was thrown out. Victoria IS NOT A FIGHTER! She charged me nearly $8,000 THEN decided to tell me her retainer for going to trial was another $10,000!!!! $10k, yes that's just what she required to go to trial! Of course, at this point I'm broke and defeated, I want to fight but I can't afford an attorney who isn't afraid of fighting. Victoria told me at least 4 times she WOULD NOT go to trial with me, I don't feel ANYONE should have to hear their attorney say that... She also has this assumption that I knew what was going on, I would ask her questions about what to do or how to handle situations and it would take sometime 3 emails (all at my expense) to get a response answering my question. I retained an attorney because I do not know how the legal system works, charging $200/hr she should be more than happy to help me understand the entire process and how it works. But instead I felt like an adolescent child asking a stupid question because she would make me feel like I should already know this stuff. 20 Years in the business of course she knows how it all works, but I have never done this before and could use the guidance. I STRONGLY feel that if you need something fixed in an order or if it's simply paperwork, Victoria is the right person for you. BUT if you need someone to FIGHT because you're facing an uphill battle and you're throwing everything on the line to try and see your children more DO NOT RETAIN VICTORIA. Even during my mediation Victoria was getting short with me and offered very little support, in fact she kept pushing for an outcome I told her from the start I did not want. When it comes down to it she will tell you what you want to hear, she will do the work, she will respond at 11pm or 5am, BUT SHE WILL NOT FIGHT! Good luck my friends, and please if you need a fighter look elsewhere.

Unfortunately sometimes despite best efforts a client does not feel happy. It does not mean they did not get a good deal or were not zealously represented . Sometimes going to a mediation can bring a better outcome than an expensive trial. This father got a joint custody at the mediation . He was never charged for a trial. A trial would not have given him joint custody . I negotiated hard on his behalf. I selected one of the best mediators in Utah who was a former judge. The former judge felt my client got a great deal . I have many satisfied clients that trust my judgment on how to proceed. Every single client gets the utmost attention and zealous representation at my firm.
