Disappointed after 2007 Divorce

I hired Steve after my ex-husband decided he did not want to pay alimony in 2010. At first, Steve was very successful in helping me regain the alimony and was always very responsive whenever I needed to talk with him. The alimony over the years has been a problem because the doctor, my ex-husband, ne...ver wanted to pay to begin with. One year ago, I was in the process of negotiating a settlement agreement with my ex-husband after various circumstances (supposedly) changed around my alimony. My ex-husband hid income, cheated the IRS, made many false accusations against me, sold his business to his best friend so that I could not have access to financial records, and the list, unfortunately, goes on. Steve was very slow moving on several issues, yet he always seemed to send me a bill for his services that did not achieve any results. Bad advice is what I want to call it. Steve, I later found out, was a good friend of my ex-husband's attorney-conflict of interest. Anyway, in the end, Steve sided with his friend and my ex-husband, which made me feel awful. What ever happened to trust? I received a settlement that was ok, but now my ex-husband has begun to make comments about me over the Internet. I thought after the settlement, it would be over. Now, I have to hire another attorney because Steve did not have enough faith in me to believe what I was telling him. What a total disappointment he was!

Knowledgeable and Spirited Attorney!

My divorce was final in 2007. It was a lengthy divorce and there were a lot of complicated problems. I hired a local attorney to handle the proceedings, after talking with three other attorneys. I thought I had made the correct decision and even took the advice of my brother-in-law, who is also an... attorney. I was greatly disappointed with the service of this well known attorney. I knew I was going to have problems down the way with alimony obligations that my ex-husband was court ordered to pay. I did indeed begin to have problems in 2010, when my ex-husband abruptly stopped my alimony. I began to look around for another attorney. I read reviews, check reviews on-line, contacted the Utah Bar Association, etc. in an attempt to hire an attorney that I could trust and would look out for my welfare, instead of high legal fees and poor representation. I found an attorney by the name of Steven Ward. I was very impressed from the very moment I spoke with him. He seemed compassionate, caring, and knowledgeable. I explained to him what my current situation was, desperate to find an attorney who would at least return my calls, or respond to my emails. Steven Ward was able to collect my alimony and still continues to provide me with excellent service. He returns calls on the same day, and emails as well. I feel as if I hit the jackpot! He continues to fight for my right to receive alimony and really seems passionate about his work, and the ability to help others. Mr. Ward is currently representing me in an attempt to collect back-pay alimony and I feel very confident that he will continue to provide excellent service.

Saved my life!

Steve represented me in a divorce process that took almost a year. It was immensely hard on me but, without fail, whenever I would talk to Steve about the case, I always felt better. I literally got THE BEST POSSIBLE OUTCOME and I have no doubt that I wouldn't be able to say that were it not for St...eve's excellent representation. He was tough when he needed to be tough and he was easy when he needed to be easy. You can tell he's done this for a long time. I would have no qualms referring anyone and everyone to him. Thank you Steve!
