Most of my practice revolves around civil litigation. The subject matter, be it real estate, personal injury, etc. changes, but the process of negotiating, litigating, writing and researching stays much the same.

Part of asset protection involves estate planning coupled with corporate law, I learned for two years about the role that family trusts, land trusts, LLCs and limited general partnerships can play in protecting properties and capital for our clients.

Personal injury is the practice area I most identify with. Helping people overcome and move past tragedy and pain is by far the most rewarding aspect of practicing.

I clerked throughout law school for a boutique real estate/asset protection firm and learned a great deal there about real estate, finance and secured transactions.
