Outstanding... Awesome.... thorough....

I have recently had some financial trouble, and I wish I had a good excuse for that but, the bottom line is, and I’m not good with money. At any rate, a creditor was in the process of garnishing my wages and I was mortified, wondering what I was going to do. I started searching the internet for leg...al advice and came across this site, Avvo. I filled out the online "form" expressing my dyer straights and within minutes I was contacted by an actual attorney named Adam Wardel. I explained my situation and Adam immediately had options for me, which told me he knew what he was doing. Adam was honest about possible outcomes and didn’t sugar coat anything, which I appreciate. I only had a few days to try and stop the garnishment, which I knew was impossible but Adam immediately went to work on my case and gave me status updates daily, but after a couple of days he called to tell me he had a resolution in my case and HE HAD STOPPED THE GARNISHMENT!! I was ecstatic! Adam is one in a million and has renewed my faith in lawyers.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
