Scott Brown

Scott was born and raised just south of Atlanta, Georgia. His work experience is diverse. Scott has been a monastic, a teacher and tutor, and a writer--before eventually turning to the practice of law. Whatever Scott has done, he has always been an extremely conscientious individual who cares deeply about doing the right thing.

Scott began his law practice with the Ada County Public Defender’s Office, where he gained invaluable experience serving Idahoans charged with crimes ranging from misdemeanors to serious felonies. It was at the Public Defender’s Office where Scott gained a joy and passion for criminal defense, and he eventually brought this joy with him into private practice at Attorneys of Idaho.

Since being in private practice, Scott has further honed his craft as a trial lawyer. Scott has represented clients charged with matters as serious as kidnapping and murder, but he also excels at handling less serious charges, such as DUI's and other misdemeanors. Whatever needs a new client brings to Scott, his practice of law is marked by clarity, directness, and precision. Scott starts and ends with his client's wishes--their objective is his objective. While most criminal cases ultimately resolve through a plea deal, Scott is a trial attorney through and through. He is extremely comfortable in a courtroom and is not afraid to fight a case in front of a jury. Altogether, Scott has done around thirty jury trials.

In his personal life, Scott likes to spend his time with his wife and three daughters, mostly enjoying the outdoors, eating good food, and watching movies on the couch. Scott is also an avid strength athlete and a lover of meditation and poetry.
