I would highly recommend Matt Holden in matters of family law. As a father that has gone thru a divorce you need someone on your side that understands your importance in children's lives and is willing to fight for you. Divorce sucks, but when it happens, and you can't work it out on your own (and pl...ease do yourself a favor and try all avenues to do that first, but if you can't.....) you need an attorney like Matt that can help you navigate pitfalls parents often find themselves in. Don't get me wrong, even when you hire a good attorney you still have to do a ton of work writing depositions, responding to inquiries etc. Divorce is bad, toxic divorces are awful (trust me... I know firsthand), and the process is very time consuming. Don't expect your attorney to do everything for you. You are your best advocate - your attorney is your spokesman. But a good attorney is worth the money, and Matt is a good one. Not only did he help get me everything...and I mean EVERYTHING...I wanted in relation to custody of my children, but he also helped me retain more net worth in the divorce than I thought I was entitled to. Matt used a little known Idaho law regarding community property that saved me well over $200k in net worth which easily covered attorney fees. Like I said.....good attorney's are worth it.
