Background:

After ten plus years in the IT industry as a network engineer and small business consultant, I headed back East to obtain a legal education at the University of Virginia School of Law (ranked 8th best law school per US News).  While there, I studied business, technology and health law under some of the best legal minds in the country.  I also had the opportunity to intern with a startup software company and help them through their second round of Angel financing.

Upon graduating, I joined Venable LLP, an AmLaw 100 law firm, as an Associate in their DC office.  I was quickly taken under the wing of a partner in the firm's nationally-ranked Technology Transactions and Outsourcing group. Under his mentorship, I learned the ins and outs of technology law and was soon counseling some of the largest companies in the world.  

Ultimately, the draw to return home became too strong to resist, and I came back to Idaho.  I am now driven to apply my education and experience to provide exceptional legal services to innovators in Idaho.
