Ice had formed in the line due to faulty maintainance and there were after-market modifications to the truck that overrode safety features. When co-employee applied maximum water pressure to garden hose, the ice abruptly dislodged and catapaulted plaintiff off flat-bed truck onto ground. Case settled for $225,000 for pain & suffering.
