Did Not Feel Supported During a Difficult Case

I hired Ms. Mannen during a very difficult and vulnerable time, but unfortunately, I did not feel supported in the way I needed from my attorney. In my experience, I felt that the focus was more on maintaining a cooperative relationship with opposing counsel than on aggressively advocating for me ...as the client. I ultimately decided to terminate the representation and move in a different direction. After doing so, I was able to make significant progress and resolve key issues within about two months. I also had concerns about certain aspects of the representation and the overall approach, which left me uncomfortable continuing. Given my experience, I was surprised by the number of positive reviews.
