Bruce served on the Board of the Monterey County Republican Central Committee; the Carmel Valley Rodeo Association; is a Benefactor Member of the Marines Memorial Association; a Life Member of the Monterey County Sheriff’s Posse; has received numerous awards from the National Republican Congressional Committee's Business Advisory Council; is listed in Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Law and numerous other such publications.
Bruce was born in San Francisco. He served with the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam era.
