Mitchell H. Edwards

My practice focuses in the areas of property law, oil & gas law, mining law, natural resources law, environmental law, ranching and agriculture, real estate transactions, land use and planning, local government law, administrative law, employment law, and civil litigation in both federal and state courts (including complex litigation and intellectual property litigation). Having represented individuals, landowners (both large and small), mineral companies, and various types of businesses, my practice and experience is very diverse. I am admitted to practice in Wyoming and before the United States District Court for the District of Wyoming, the United States District Court of North Dakota, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, the United States Court of Federal Claims, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. I am member of the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation. I am also a member of the Wyoming Bar Association, the Wyoming Trial Lawyers Association, and the National Trial Lawyers Association. In 2012, I was recognized by the National Trial Lawyers as a “Top 40 under 40” trial lawyer. In 2013, I was appointed as a member of the local Board of Advisory Directors for Capital West Bank, which merged with ANB Bank. I am currently a member of the Board of Advisory Directors for ANB Bank. I am active in local, state and national politics, and an currently serving as the State Committeeman for the Albany County Republican Party.
