Baend grew up in Moorcroft, Wyoming, and following graduation from Moorcroft High School attended the University of Wyoming for his undergraduate decree, and subsequent Masters degree, in Business Administration. He then attended the University of Wyoming College of Law, and while he was there was chosen by his peers to be the Potter Law Club (Student Bar Association) President. Baend was also the Student Director of the Family and Child Legal Advocacy Clinic in his third year of law school.
Baend lives in Laramie with his wife, son and two dogs.

Amazing Lawyer, honest and kind.
