A Wolf Comes As A Wolf

Francis has been my number one supporter. He has gone out of his way to make sure I get through my day. He works hard for all his clients, he accepts the work and trusts that his clients will pay for his hard work. The man doesn’t lose. I have been in some hopeless situations, situations that I have ...been in before, so, I expected the same outcome, however, Francis McVay sought out and gained the most favorable outcome I could have imagined. The courts, the prosecutors and the legal community in general all respect him and trust his word, as do I. He has yet to lose on my behalf and I trust him even though I have trust issues. I’ve seen him go from working at a law firm, a well respected law firm, while he was working there his law firm jumped their minimum rate by double (imo from the success and hard work of Francis). And now Francis has his own law firm, he went out on his own and when you walk in you feel like his only client. He does work for those who have lots and those who have little. He represents the hard cases and wins the hard cases. He doesn’t avoid cases that have little chance of success and he gains success. I recommend him to all my friends and family and they see how hard he works for me and they have all hires him as well. Best attorney I’ve had by far! 5-Star Review

Thank you deeply for this review and for having the raw courage to share your journey. When life collapses into Mariana Trench depths—when chaotic struggles, medical emergencies, and the weight of overlapping court proceedings threaten to pull you under—most of the world steps back and taps out. At Deep Waters Law, L.L.C., that is precisely where we make our stand. We do not tap out, and we refuse to let our clients drown in the chaos. Hearing that you felt protected and held back from the brink means more to me than any courtroom filing ever could. Real legal advocacy is never confined to sitting behind a desk issuing advice from afar. It means showing up on the front lines when crisis erupts in real time—stepping directly between a client and immediate state pressure, solving practical daily survival and mobility hurdles so you can remain compliant, advocating directly with third-party testing providers, and fighting for your medical dignity in the hospital. It means doing whatever it takes, far above and beyond standard representation, to shield a human being in distress. Whether defending against severe criminal allegations, navigating DWUI / DUI charges, resolving high-stakes Circuit and Municipal Court cases, managing felony probation revocations, or fighting for members of our tribal community across Wyoming, our posture is absolute. While every case turns on its own distinct legal facts and no outcome can ever be guaranteed, our non-negotiable standard never shifts: we drag chaos into order, force the legal system to see the human soul behind the docket, and stand as an impenetrable shield when you are on the ledge. No matter how deep the abyssal waters get or how heavy the pressure becomes, you will never have to face them alone. Our door remains wide open to you, your family, and your friends whenever the storm rages. 'When you pass through the waters, I will be with you.' — Isaiah 43:2 Very truly yours, Francis H. McVay and the Deep Waters Law team

If you need help when in deep waters, call Francis.

When I was served a protection order in the morning, I was panicked, and called around for an attorney, and when I landed on Deep Waters Law, they did an immediate intake, and handled my matter. Francis got it dismissed!

William: Thank you for taking the time to leave this review. When a sudden emergency protection order or pseudo-criminal filing is weaponized to inflict panic and uproot a home here in Wyoming, it demands immediate tactical intervention, unyielding command of the courtroom, and an advocate who confronts bad-faith posturing head-on. At Deep Waters Law, our response across Cheyenne, state, and tribal courts is defined by the inevitable pressure of absolute trial readiness. Whether defeating malicious protection orders, defending complex criminal and civil rights matters, or litigating serious personal injury claims, we do not play defense against bad-faith actions—we drag them directly into the deep waters of real litigation, subjecting every allegation to immediate, exhaustive judicial scrutiny. Unsupported claims crumble under the light of the Court. Standing as an impenetrable shield for your family—whether shutting down emergency filings or securing long-term stability through formal custody, visitation, and support petitions—is our non-negotiable standard. Our door remains wide open whenever future legal challenges or family transitions arise, because the law is not settled until it is just. Whenever unexpected storms rise and you or your family find yourselves in deep waters, know that you will never have to walk through them alone. 'When you pass through the waters, I will be with you.' — Isaiah 43:2 Very truly yours, Francis H. McVay and the Deep Waters Law team

Reliable

Francis made a same day consultation with me. I came in with so many issues he helped me itemize them, prioritize them, and we came to an agreement. The most pressing issue was my upcoming criminal charge. He stayed by my side through all of what I had going on, even reviewing and accepting Tribal Re...presentation. He was always on time, very respectful, very calm. Francis understands the law very well and I grew to trust him. It’s hard to trust these days but I trust Francis. He picked up my criminal case half way through and even pushed me to do better and try harder on my letter to the judge. Francis even helped me put on a tie since I never knew how and I think I even looked halfway decent. I got what I wanted out of the deal and am very grateful to him and his team.

CHILD CUSTODY CASE

Mr. McVay during our first hearing, which was done long distance as I am out of state, I had multiple problems connecting to the court. Mr. McVay was extremely helpful in postponing in our favor. As we moved forward in the next several weeks Mr. McVay has been prompt, very detailed and caring. Mr. Mc...Vay has gone above and beyond in his strategies to allow a win in my case. I would highly recommend calling Mr. McVay who is advertised for father's rights but know when to advocate for both.
