Melinda D. Godwin

Ms. Godwin has been a resident of the great state of Wyoming for over forty years.  She graduated at the top of her law school class in 2001.  Passionate about helping others, she worked in the Defender Aid Clinic while at law school and accepted a position with Hirst & Applegate following an internship with them.  It was there that she fell in love with litigation and began building her career as a successful litigator.  Ms. Godwin focuses her practice in both family law and criminal defense.  She remains passionate with her volunteer work in the community and becuase of this passion and drive, her client skills remain her strong suit.   Ms. Godwin listens to her clients and works with them on innovative solutions that work for their particular situation.  "Family law and criminal law is about people.  It's never a one size fits all.  There's a lot at stake in every case."
