Timothy Earl Whitsitt

Prior to establishing Whitsitt & Gross, P.C, Tim Whitsitt enjoyed a varied legal career, working both in private practice and as the County Attorney for Pitkin County in Aspen, Colorado. Tim earned his law degree from the University of Michigan and was admitted to the Colorado Bar in 1974. He has extensive experience in commercial litigation, including construction defect, breach of contract, mechanic’s lien foreclosure, employment, quiet title, land use, and real estate rights. In the past, Tim has had significant experience involving those areas of practice as well as union and non-union labor relations, natural resources litigation, administrative law and practice, local government, real estate titles and oil and gas development and exploration. Tim also serves the community by volunteering for many organizations in the Roaring Fork Valley, such as Habitat for Humanity, the Rotary Club of Carbondale, Aspen Pitkin County Employee Housing, Inc. and the Aspen Camp for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. When not volunteering or practicing law, Tim enjoys traveling with his wife Jacque, biking and volleyball.
