Charles is a knowledgeable and efficient litigator and transactional attorney who focuses on real estate and water law. He is a skilled negotiator, counsels on behalf of his clients to reach deals, and achieves successful trial results on their behalf.

He explains options and strategies to his clients in plain terms. Charles’ knowledge encompasses local land use regulations and codes, Colorado Common Interest Ownership Act (CCIOA) issues, and business formation and governance considerations. He is also fluent in Spanish.

Charles is a graduate of the University of Colorado Law School, where he was a member of the Colorado Environmental Law Review. He was an intern for Judge Anne Norrdin in the Ninth Judicial District. During law school, Charles worked as a summer associate for a law firm in the Roaring Fork Valley.

After earning his undergraduate degree in Spanish and history from Colorado College, Charles was executive director of the Pikes Peak Justice and Pro Bono Center in Colorado Springs for two and a half years.

Outside of work, Charles enjoys exploring the mountains in the Aspen and Marble area on skis, rafting, and climbing in the Wind River Range.
